Though I never met Marilyn, I have seen her art. I am drawn to her abstract landscape pieces inspired by the desert-southwest. Her use of color, shape, and composition is dynamic. The last time I was in Arizona, I hiked in the hills at sunrise and sunset when it was cooler and the colors of the sky and landscape would change. For me, Marilyn’s pieces capture the essence of what I experienced.
